I roll my eyes and half-close my ears against the imminent shouting. This is going to get messy.

"Sister, dear, I would sooner turn myself over to the authorities then die" Lily takes a sip from her water glass, "I don't believe dying on principle has ever accomplished anything."

"I am not asking you to die, only to fight."

"We can all agree on one thing." I say, raising my voice, "And that's that we have a danger to deal with. So...Ignacy, I thought the nazis here in the Nightside were a joke. Exactly how big is this problem going to get?"

i shrug "i dont know and i wouldnt take hans's word without a grain of salt according to him they have captured a dragon that they keep chained to the entrance to hitlers underground bunker oh and are working with the elves and have developed giant crab battle tanks i think the tinfoil makes his brain soft or something".

I shake my head. "In this place I never really know what's plausible and what's not. But elves....that's bad. Though I have trouble seeing elves working with humans. It's not their sort of thing. Trick humans, yes, but ally with them? Never."

i shrug "elves dont like humans nazis dont like non nazis its sort of a win win i guess".

"Elves want to exterminate humans. Bit of a difference." I say doubtfully.

i take a sip from my tea "hey i did warn you he is a bit loopy but he might know something that we could use"

I nod. "Good. I like to know where the storm's coming from before the lightning starts to hit."
