i take out a cigarette from a pack i left at the table and put it in my mouth " If by my life or death I can protect you I will. You have my sword" then i raise an eyebrow and light the cigarette "or something like that".

"Honor is a rare thing in this age" I smile "it isn't me who is going to need this, it is Liv, I already owe her and you, sori. if it weren't for you two i would still be a walking corpse." I shrug " i will see this threw till we succeed or I am no more" I shrug anyway, i think lunch before dark thoughts destroy at least one of our appetites eh?" I clap my hands together. "sound fair?"

"Indeed." I nod. "I'll make us some rice then?" I roll to my feet and begin making my way to the kitchen since I don't know of any other way to make breakfast.

"How about I cook and you can try something new? it is lunch time after all?" I smile to Koi. "never know until you try right?"

"Something new?" Confusion slips through me at the option. What new food could she have in mind? Surely western food is not all that different than Japanese food. Save for that pizza thing. That pizza thing was made by a genius.

ï smile and blow a puff of smoke and look at kiou "im afraid im not going to be able to spar with you for some time" i gesture to my missing bodyparts.

Stopping, and turn back to the now lighter friend. "In time, we can spar again. Not to mention, there is also the chance that you can adapt to the fact that you are lighter. It will give you an advantage as enemies will deem you weaker and off balance."

i shrug "they will grow back again in a few days or a week".

"In my experience, limbs do not grow back... Though, I have never experienced a place like this... So... I imagine we can spar again in a week. I would hate to see your skill become rusty after all. One as strong as you should be ready for anything."

"Did somebody say lunch?" I ask, stepping out of the hall. My eyes are still a little red-rimmed, I saw that in the bathroom mirror, but I'm guessing our friends won't notice it. "I'm starved."

" I think i need to Introduce our dear Koi to new foods" I smile not saying anything about the red rims around her eyes. "trying to decide, was thinking pasta, or burgers, with a Mushroom one for you and Dejhuty so it isn't Beef." I shrug "as long as it is edible, want to grab some potatoes?"

i stump the cigarette in a ashtray and say "Im not like normal people im augmented a part of that augmentation is being able to regrow limbs".

"Spagetti." I say decisively, "There's turkey meatballs in the freezer...oh, don't make that face. They taste good!"

i pout "i hate turkey".

"It's good for you," I retort, "and considering what you do to your body it could use some help. Besides, it means Liam doesn't have to cook two seperate meals."

i shrug "i still hate turkey its just so dry tasting".

I growl. "Deal with it, or we'll sell your picture to Guns'n Garters Magazine."

i think about it "you know that might actually score a fair bit of cash".

I roll my eyes. "You are such a philistine."

I roll my eyes at their antics, it is good to see liv being her normal snarky mothering self, "sit then, or get the water boiling for the noodles." I shake my head rummaging for the meatballs "and why in the nine realms do you have Tofu in here. dear gods of sea and sky that stuff is disgusting even to a corpse"

"It's not mine, trust me. That stuff tastes like mud." I drop two fingers into the water, swirling it, singing lightly, until it begins to heat. "There. Boiling." I say over my shoulder a moment later.

Coming back with the rest of the ingredients causes the work to be done quickly, though having the bright idea of splattering Liv with some of the tomato paste is more then slightly hilarious "Why Liv! i never knew red was your color" i manage between bouts of laughter "Though you may just be trying to get used to it"

I shout in amused annoyance. "It's going to be your color after I break your nose!" I say, launching myself at him in a mock attack. I grab a bottle of nettle off my spice rack and dump it down his shirt, grinning fiercely. Nettles are less harsh when dried, but that is going to itch like mad.

I reach over and shake out some of the dried nettles "Oh really now then this will get messy you know" I growl laughing "this, my friend, means war" trying my best to ignore the nettles "however the battle must be postponed or no one would eat"

I grin. "I've played pranks with the best, lad. Be warned. Challenge accepted. Now, lunch, please."
