I lever myself up and offer a hand to Dehjuty "This time when you leave, let us give a proper Farewell ok?" I offer a smirk before taking a slice of pizza that had more meat the pizza on it "Think Liv was going batty without ya and Lily was flirty with Ignacy since she didn't have you to make blush"

"Glad I missed it, then. How's she turning out anyway?" Djhuty slides out of his coat and drapes it over the back of his favored chair, causing it to creak in protest. "Our little thief do anything useful with her talents yet?"

I catch Liv and Ignacy's Eye "she helped make Ignacy less lawn ornament and more armored car" I shrug "and she was willing to venture into the compound to help get liv back. now if we could get her and Kaija to get along. . . " looking at Kaija, "Bloody Hell girl, eat"

Picking up where Liam left off, "If we could get those two to get along, celestial trumpets will sound and the seas will give up their dead." Smiling, he eyes Kaija sulking, a slice of pizza held limply in her hand. "I don't need to be around to know that those two are more alike then they realize."

I grin. "Yes, they are. And I was not 'going batty' by the by, Liam. One day that tongue of yours will get you in trouble."

I toss one of the little salty fish at her " Nah, more likely my unwillingness to reign it in" I laughing a little as some of my color returns. "and yes you were, but i won't tease ya for it right now" then to Sylus "where is your tawny companion Blue? thought you two were inseparable"

"Ignore him, Sylus, he's just jealous." I say slyly.

I smirk at Liv "Girly, I given what i can remember, i can't in good conscience chase anyone, it would be too much like robbing the cradle." then suddenly dropping the jovial attitude "besides i wasn't intending that, i actually was curious because i haven't played the riddle game in years and well, why not jump in both feet first?"

I smirk. "Jump into riddles with a sphinks? You'll drown. Best start in the shallows with me, lad."

Sylus hisses and clacks his beak from Djehuty's shoulder. "She's sorting out with her mother. Short story, she didn't like me."

I frown, laying a hand on his feathered side. "Oh, I'm sorry Sylus. But don't let it worry overmuch, You don't have to like your inlaws."

I decide to take the moral high road and not rise to her bait, choosing instead to raise an eyebrow and take a slice of pizza. the idle pinging of Anchovies off the back of my head tells me i gave Kaija the wrong slice, much to her bronze coatl, and my Aimee's delight. " My apologies Sylus, i was unaware, though the old saying love conquers all comes to mind, i hope she is able to win them over."

"Yes," He mutters, sliding from the shoulder to the floor in a fluid motion, "But it makes it a good deal easier on the kids." He slides out of the room, disappearing behind a molecule

I can feel my eyes widen. "Kids?!"

"Oh dear," Djehuty runs a hand through his hair, staring at the space recently vacated by Sylus... "I've met her mother. Nasty piece of work."

"What's wrong with her?" I ask, cocking my head.

I look over at her "yes" I lever myself back up, and make my way to the fridge, only juice but it is better then nothing. damn am i an ass for making so light of the situation. "most inlaws are, who is thirsty?" might as well be polite

I shrug, and turn away. "When we're finished eating," I murmur to Djhuety, "We'd best go. Should it be just us two, or..." I raise an eyebrow, subtly nodding my head in the direction of the others.

Raising an eyebrow, he looks down at her. "Your destiny, your choice." He shrugs.

I sigh. "I don't like exposing anyone to danger..." Then I glance from Liam, to Kaija's sulking form, and down the hall to the sound of Ignacy playing cards and cursing as he loses. "But we are best when we are together. And at least that way we'll have no arguments about who goes and who stays. I'm getting tired of those."

"where are we going" I ask sitting down with a couple glasses of juice "sorry I missed that part." leaving the destiny bit alone seems wise. "and you aren't the only one Liv"

I nod in commiseration. "Kids...as for where we're headed, it's in part of my mother's lands. You okay with that?" I glance up at my friend questioningly.

I smile at liv "Yeah, I think I am, which is surprising to me. I still am not comfortable but that is to be expected." I smile and snag another slice "and this will be Kaija's first time as far as I know" I hold back a smirk "but she will likely be more comfortable then i was"

"It...won't be as friendly as my family." I say carefully. "Not dangerous, but...well, not a vacation either. More like a state occasion than a visit home."

"so no weapons or at least any weapons would be ornamental and no iron?" I say becoming pensive "no Bluster, less drinking, be civil and responsible" Looking between Liv and Dejhuty "Ignacy is screwed"
