In the Blood or in the Soul

Grumbling, she kicked the little bigger clear across the shop. "Damned things. Just leave me alone!". She screamed at them as her palms glowed but fizzled out soon after that. Going back to the wall, she slid down it panting. Her head was dizzy as the energy she had taken from the rabbit was already gone. "I wanna go home.... I don't care if its a nasty crusty old man... I just wanna eat...."

at the mention of 'food' one of the little drones shocks her again and in a severely glitchy voice says "you mislike *brzzt* our mizztrzzez hozpitality *spark* and are no Prizzzonerrrrr" punctuating it's statement with another zap "no one is zzztoping you from *pop* leaving" with that it rejoins it's breathren as they attempt to salvage what workable parts of the fire extinguisher arm they can

She glared at the bot before surging to her feet and kicking it across the shop as well. "That was for shocking me you damned rat of a thing." Heading to the thick sheet of ice that still covered the door, she ran her hands over it. "Even after a little melting this thing is still too thick.... Hmmm.... Hacking at it might work... But that will take energy..." She sighed and began looking around for an axe or something sharp.

Around the shop there are large pieces of sharp metal as well as more then a few mallets and other such items that could be used for the desired purpose the golem feeding into its impulses and smiling, knowing full well what this girl is capable of doing if she tries, to or takes the time to look at what is really there.

She shifted through the metal before finding a bit of scrap that would be good and chisel. After that she selected one of the many mallets and hoisted it onto a pile to work on. Finding a bit of wire, she affixed the scrap to the mallet and stood back to survey her work. It was ugly, and she had never made such a thing, but it was worth a try. throwing it onto her shoulder, she strode to the ice wall and proceeded to smash her first hit against it.

The first strike is met with stubborn resistance, leaving only a slight discoloration in the ice. the second has a spiders web of cracks begin to radiate out, until soon the whole wall looks like it should be collapsing though it stubbornly holds its now weakened shape

After all the work she had gone through to get to this point, she pressed her forehead against the cool ice. Sweat dripped from her from all the exhertion and she grit her teeth in frustration. Damned wall. Damned ice. Thumping a hand against it weakly, she flipped over and leaned against it. She had made a gamble as to whether or not she would escape in time to get proper food. Now it was clear she would not.

Her makeshift mallet clanged loudly to the ground as she slid down the face of the ice. Everything ached and hurt in a way she had never felt before and now she just wanted sleep. Head slumping forward, she took comfort in the fact that at least she wouldn't have to deal with her mother's punishment for not arriving home sooner. It was the last thought she had before she passed out.

Several of the drones drag her back to her "bed" and deposit her there, knowing that the golem though aware of their actions would be displeased by their lack of adhering to basic human treatment protocol leaving a thin broth near her for when she awakens

Much later when she awoke, she let out a gasping moan of pain. Why was still alive? Not that it mattered really. With pain like this, she might as well be dead soon. Panting, she didn't even try to sit up knowing that it would only hurt more. At least a day had gone by since she had had a proper meal as every part of her ached as a result.
